Let me introduce our products as described below: Velcro backed sandpaper
is now available in circular cut disc form with approximately 12 different Grits
(Range 40-1000). Sizes are 50 -62-75-100-125mm packaged in lots of 10 of each
specified Grit. Also available, are "handy packs", two of each Grit
(10 per packet) in a range of 3 only in the 50-62-75mm sizes, i.e. (fine 2 ea.
320-400-600-800-1000) (medium 2ea. 120-150-180-240-320) (course 2ea.
60-80-100-1250-150). These packs are very suitable for the beginner, having a
variety of Grits in one pack makes for economical usage to start with. A range of Velcro faced arbors for power sanding are available in five sizes as above, although the three smaller ones are more popular for most wood turners. We also have a range of Velcro sandpaper sold by metre length, mostly 150mm in width, the very fine Grit is narrower. Further to the Velcro range,
we cut to order any size disc. from 150-300mm. Both in Velcro material and paper
especially used on disc sanders, (once the Velcro is permamently glued on, a
change from Grit to Grit is so simply and very quickly accomplished. Another item is our Freewheeler hand
held, self removing, sander. It has a double ball race bearing fitted into one
end of a wooden handle, which will accept all arbors. This type of operation is
more gentle for finer and smaller work, than the normal power sanding using
electric and battery operated drills. They both have their own specific uses. A very new product called ASTRA is now on sale. Click here for more information. Apart from the both types of sandpaper and arbors available, we also manufacture a Pyrography machine, constructed of black acrylic plastic, complete with handle and spare tips. This machine has 3 separate heats, and ideal for wood, cork, leather and plastics.
