As a woodturner of 25 years experience, Graham realised the necessity to collect his own stock to enable him to compete at  National competitions.

Through this process, we have obtained many outstanding species, and have appreciated their characteristics. Also, we have gained contacts with the wood loving public. This has lead us to collect only certain species, and we now present these into the public marketplace.

Native species are collected under strict management regimes and exotic logs are sourced throughout the country from the public who appreatiate our economical use of a precious resource. For more information about timber, please click here

We have cut our material into large sizes though retaining low prices. All our materials are waxed to minimize splitting. Some moisture is retained, but will soon dry out once the initial turning is completed.

We recommend that the sealer is applied immediately afterwards, then left approximately three to four weeks to fully dry, in readiness for final finishing.

We offer these blocks at economical prices and welcome you to visit our Matamata premises, viewing our product at National events or upon request we will visit your clubrooms.
